‘Hiding Glider’ painting was inspired by the Greater Glider, a remarkable nocturnal marsupial found in the forests of Far North Queensland. With its large expressive eyes, soft fur, and ability to glide silently between trees, the greater glider evokes a sense of mystery and connection to the Australian bush. Living high in the canopy and emerging after dusk, it embodies both grace and elusiveness, qualities that influenced the mood, movement, and atmosphere of this artwork.
